The tomatoes finally froze the other night and so I have picked all that might ripen - still that should last us a couple of weeks yet - there were two baskets full. Of course the basil is gone - though the fennel continues...I died back and then started growing again and i decided to let it and see what happens. I have planted a LOT OF GARLIC, several different types, elephant garlic, and three other regular types too. We have an abundance of turnips and kale that will taste even better now that the frost got to them.
So maybe really it isn't over.....Just that I was focused on tomatoes which I will pull up in a week or so and then compost those squares.
