I just got in a shipment of Noro - Kureyon, Silk Garden in lovely new colors. And really the best thing - Fiesta Ballerina.....a lace weight alpaca/tencel blend that is so pretty and soft and is making me want to start another lace project....
The other news is that there is now an Ebay store - there will be some yarn for sale there, rovings and stuff, but also vintage patterns and books and possibly other things later. At the moment there are only a few yarns up, I expect to get more on by next week.
And....one more thing.....I am working on getting The Knaughty Knitter line of patterns out. Several are printed already and I should get to more today. So if there are samples in the store you want to make but I have said in the past "I haven't written the pattern yet" that won't be true for much longer cause I have been working at it and I should have at least a dozen out by next week.
Sorry no pictures today, Doyle took the camera home and I forgot to bring it back this morning......I have been working on a modular shawl out of Mushishi that is promising to be yummy, and socks and a free form crochet piece. Pictures soon I promise.

Several of us were knitting in the park yesterday. Brought the dogs and enjoyed the great weather - see it didn't rain and there was a nice breeze to kill the heat and keep the bugs away. It was nice to be outside and hang out with friends.
We will be at Old Fort Park tomorrow for World Wide Knit in Public Day(s). When you turn into the park you should be able to see us. I am trying for the area up front with lots of trees but not too close to the road. If by chance we are not there because it is a swamp or already taken keep driving and I will either have posted a sign or we will be visible from the road. Remember to bring your own chair, bug spray and drinks. I'll have some snacks there.....some folks are bringing their dogs, kids, etc - it is fine to do that. On the off chance there is rain - hard rain - not a bit of sprinkling - we'll seek refuge at the store.
Janet (of the swamp creature) came in the other day with a bag she had embellished. She had been spinning some of the fiber I dyed and was making this great freeform knit & crochet bag....I decided I needed one, searched and found the bags and have started making scrumbles. There is a beginning crochet class at the end of the month and a freeform crochet class in July if you want to learn it. Some of it is random knitting and crocheting but other techniques are in there too.
