Here's another gift idea...

I made this Fauxbius cowl...

It's from 2 skeins of Baby Alpaca Grande Paint and the softest thing next to your face.  The pattern is free with yarn purchase.  It's a ribbed lace pattern that looks great on both sides.  It's a fauxbius cause you make a straight piece and then twist when you sew it together. 

And then there's this - Stacie made this great little hat out of Washday Wool - a new fingering weight wool that's superwash.
