Yukon!

Was that supposed to be Eureka...oops.  Yukon is here though.  This is a Plymouth super chunky yarn in lovely variegated colors.  I made this hat last night in less than two hours...with one skein of yarn.  I should have the pattern done this afternoon though.  Also in...some Fantasy Naturale in more colors and a couple of delicious new books  -  New Twists on Twined Knitting and Knits from the North Sea.

 

A week or so ago Darlene came in with some yarn she had spun using fiber I had dyed.  it's lovely, and here is a picture.

Kitty Kitty

needs a home. 

S/He has been hanging out here for a month or so and seems not to have a home anymore.  I have been feeding him, treated with Frontline but I haven't looked to see if it is a he or she, or named him/her.  S/he is a lovely kitty, very friendly and talkative and sweet.  Wants attention and to be inside. I can't take him home - my girls would be furious.  Somebody want to give this lovely cat a home?

Even more classes

are up.  I have posted them through October... there's socks, mittens, hats, weaving, crochet...more.  Spinning Circle is this Saturday too.  Yeah!

The weekly special is

These roving samples came in the mail today.  It isn't something I stock on a regular basis anymore, but if anyone wants some let me know by Monday and I will order it.  Orders will have to be prepaid and I will order them around closing time on Monday afternoon.  They could conceivably be here in time for Spinning Circle on Saturday July 18th from 2-4pm(Although that may be asking too much).
