There's this ruffley yarn....this is the newest version - from Crystal Palace - called Tutu...I thought it needed some accompaniment so there is Cascade Pastaza and some Plume FX from Berroco too
Okay not quite done - but it is a quick knit. I got this far between 9pm and 11pm last night. CO in Pastaza 170 stitches. Knit row in Pastaza, then knit a row with Plume and Pastaza, another with jut Pastaza, then only with TuTu....alternate these rows until you have four rows of Tutu then close out the same as you started - 1 row Pastaza, one Pastaza and Plume, one Pastaza and BO loosely. There are some rows that the Tutu will end up on the wrong side unless you purl it - so purl those rows.
And then I think forgot to put pictures last week of HPKY that we have in now. I have a variety of them - everything from Little Giant that makes a scrf or small shawl with lovely variations in the yarn to their very cool scarf in a scarf kits. A scarf in a scaft is a matching hand dyed silk scarf is and yarn in a kit with the pattern. The scarf is threaded through the scarf you knit. This sounds a little wierd but is really quite pretty. There's glitter in some of their yarns too.
The new Vogue Knitting is in with a few really wonderful things in it and some that are just nice - there is a shawl and a cowl that I have to knit - I am breaking no starting anything yet rule and starting one of them tonight.
And then there's this. New through the same folks that handle Noro (oh wait there's new of that too - Taiyo) is Louisa Harding's silk/merino hand dyed blend - coming soon is the version of this with the beads in it too. And then there's Willa from Juniper Moon Farm......It isn't much to look at in the yarn porn department but touch it and it'll have you moaning with pleasure. It is Super Kid Mohair and Merino - not the fuzzy itchy mohair but the well spun without fuzzing it kind of mohair. That purple and green and the blues behind is Tutu
