Happy Leap Month! The hat KAL for this month is Baa-ble by Donna Smith. It needs a couple of colors of worsted weight wool and a bit of black and white too. It’s free on Ravelry.
There’s a really scrumptious new yarn in this week. Cross Creek Sock Yarn by Meadowcroft Dyeworks. Very intense colors on a great Merino and Nylon yarn. I have made a hat from their worsted weight yarns and am very much a fan of their yarns. They are a father and son team of indie dyers and woodworkers/artists.
Doyle is having wrist surgery on Thursday, Feb 11th so we will be closed some of that day since he has to have me with him when he is there. I will know on Monday if it is all day or just some part of it. I’ll post that on the website and facebook.
I have a space left in the weaving class on Saturday (12:30-4) so call if you are interested.
Saturday, Feb 13 there is Crochet Clinic where you can learn to crochet. And Project Clinic where you can bring your troubled projects or learn to start that thing you’ve been wanting to make.
Saturday, Feb 20th there is Spinning Group – Bring your wheel or drop spindle and come spin together from 12-4.
Saturday, Feb 7th is the first in a series of Stashbuster projects. A really cute baby sweater with interesting construction. You can use up your sport or fingering weight yarns and have a gift for the next baby in your life. (the picture is on the class schedule page at the website) The pattern is Phazelia’s Mitered Baby Jacket.
