This from the first Weaving School Class. Laura made a table runner in a log cabin pattern. The next Weaving School class is Loom Controlled Weaves, Sat, Mar 8. You can learn to make patterns and textures on your rigid heddle loom.

Knitted Afghan class is over
Nancy came pretty close to finishing - and really since it has been over a week since I took this, she is probably giving it away now. It was a great way to learn a lot of knitting techniques and a lot of fun for everyone.
Lisa is doing a Stitch School class - the first one is full, next scheduled one is April 26th.

New Baskets
We got some new baskets at market. These little ones were so cute I had to get them. I see purses - but you could put a small project in them, loop the handle around you and knit as you walk through the market....

A New Cowl from a New Yarn
The shop sample finally arrived from Berroco for the new yarn Folio. The pattern is available on Ravelry - and we still have the yarn. It is definitely a keeper.

A New Cowl from A Nice Yarn
Here's a new cowl I did from Manos Fino - a lace weight single ply wool and silk. The pattern is from Manos and the photograph doesn't really show how pretty it is, but I tried. It is very soft and warm.

More Weaving Things
I decided this year I would also learn more weaving things and so here are two projects I am doing
This is just a scarf in three colors but I've always liked how three related colors look together woven so I wanted to do one.
The next one is an experiment - the middle section is warped with wool and the outer parts with non felting cotton blends. It is woven with a superwash wool so I am hoping that when I take it home to felt only the center will felt and the edges will become ruffled!
If it works I'll put up a picture.
Once this come off the loom I am going to play with more texture patterns (in preparation for Weaving School session 2 in March which is loom controlled weaves).
