A woman from New York came in last week and she had written the new book on knitting socks on straight needles. Lisa bought one from her and started a couple of pairs. She LOVES this way of knitting them so much I might try it too. I don't love knitting socks on circulars so this sounds great to me. Lisa is teaching the class in May. Sign up fast - it'll fill up I think. You'll need to get the book here and worsted sock yarn. There'll be homework before class too.
