I have been knitting on the Anthology sweater and then sewing a lot. Anthology is fun and challenging but knitting with patterns is not so interesting for me. I think this is why I have gone back to a sewing for a bit. Yesterday was so pretty and I was holed up in the sewing room half the day. I made 4 cowls, a cute bag with strips and a really simple sort of flowy jacket thing. I even managed to reorganize the huge basket of fat quarters I seem to have collected. I was a little disappointed in the collection though - couldn't find the right blues to put together for a bag - ended up using a "jelly roll" I had that is full of oranges and turquoises and brown.....Guess I'll have to shop - I still want a blue bag. Then there is that pink toile in the closet that would make great knitting bags... I've been watching Youtube videos for sewing bags and have made 2 in the last week or so. It's a phase, the machine will get buried under other stuff again soon and I'll go onto other things for a while. Meanwhile I'll perk up my weird wardrobe with some summer things and way too many bags.
