I love working with Berroco Ultra Alpaca.
on Ravelry. It was mystery themed. It was a cowl that you twist back on itself while it is still on the loom. I have been watching Midsomer murders and so that was my theme. Lovely green English countryside, scratchy British wool, Old stone fences, fine English gardens and cottages, and twisted darkness lurking, trails of blood everywhere. It was fun.
Little Fairy
Yes, the crochet one does not photograph so well. She was the last one I did and I probably got a little sloppy.
Anyway the pattern is out. Available at the store, on Ravelry and by tomorrow, Etsy. I will also be making some handspun hair for those of you who don't want to spin it yourself. The Angelina for the wings is here too.

Row 2: knit across
Repeat these rows, x3 in color A, then x3 in color B
Continue to desired length and bind off.
looks nothing like the original pattern. Jane did a fantastic job on her. She spun thick and thin yarn for her hair, made angelina wings.....
Yes there will be a pattern - I am hoping to have it written by next week with some embellishments and more ideas.

if I posted this or not. I found this piece of crewel work - probably from the 70s judging by the fabric - in a yard sale linen box I got for $3. I did a bit of beading, embroidery and sewing and I really like my new old bag....
I love this yarn. It's tiny so it makes for long knitting, it is beautiful and it's wool. It will soften up with washing, but I have never minded a bit of scratchy when it is so pretty. We just got in a bunch of new colors. This is a scarf I recently dug out of the UFO pile (placed there for lack of time to work on it, despite really wanting to). It is about half done...
