Easter Bunny Class

Come make an Easter Bunny out of a knitted square!  Saturday (I know it is just before Easter but you can get it done by then, I promise).  Knit a square at least 6" big in either stockinette of garter stitch and bring it, a tapestry needle, knitting needles and some stuffing to class on Saturday April 4th at 10:30am and we'll make bunnies!  Free Class.

We know that lots of folks shop the internet for better prices and we want you back.  The money you spend in a locally owned business benefits everyone in the community because a lot of that money goes back into the community.  Local businesses of all sorts need folks to shop local or they won't be there anymore.  So here's the deal.  Starting this week, Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays we will meet whatever internet shop's price on the yarn you are wanting for your project. This is good on any in stock yarn we have that you find an exact match  for on line.

Reywa Yarn

has arrived.  Reywa is the Tibetan word for hope and that is what they do.  The profits go towards funding education for Tibetan children.  They are a fair trade company.  Their yarns are heavenly.  We now have Bloom - a lace weight 50% yak/50% silk yarn that feels so wonderful. I am hurrying to finish two other shawls so I can started on something in this.

We have them...Marble Chunky that is.  A big shipment came in yesterday with some new colors too.

Here's Berroco Indigo

Cotton and Recycled Denim.... the sweater pattern is available too.

I finally got around to straightening the self striping sock yarns...A bit of new Berroco Sock and some new Opal colors have come in in the past week and it badly needed sorting.  Now the top shelf is Berroco, shelf 2 is Lang and some other misc. stuff, the third shelf is mostly Opal.  Things are findable again.  Oh wow bad picture (only shelf 2 and 3)  I have said lately I hate the new laptop/tablet camera...

Yeah it is Friday! We will be open today, but I am staying home. Doyle decided to go in - he hates being stuck at home/inside. He will be there a little after 10. There is NO GROUP tonight though.

Okay we're just calling it a home crafting day. I am baking a coconut cake and doing some sewing....have fun and see you tomorrow (might be a little late opening tomorrow, the road in front of our house is ice)

We are closed this morning, we'll reassess around noon. It depends on the ice on the driveway and what the news folks are saying.
