til Fiber in the Boro......

The store will be closed on Saturday October 24th.  Come see us at Fiber in the Boro at Lane AgriPark.  Come by the booth and register for door prizes - there are lots.  I'll have a new pattern available and there will be weaving demos all day. 

I've revamped the classes

again....So no more searching for the class for that thing you want to make - come to Project Clinic and Make It!  We'll walk you through the projects of your choice so don't be afraid to try some new skills.

I have also done this to crochet - there's crochet clinic too - so if you want to learn to crochet, or to read a pattern or need help with a project, Crochet Clinic is for you.

Wayne will be teaching Knit Clinic - a beginning level version of the Clinic - so send a friend who wants to learn or come yourself and learn how to do some of those skills you need to master.

Weaving Classes are back on the schedule too starting in November.

Make Christmas Stockings!

I just put a class on the schedule for making Christmas Stockings.  There's still time to make one for that new grandchild or the new son-in-law.  Class starts Sat Oct 17th and runs through Nov - included is a half hour private lesson time for when you get stuck.  Pick a Ravelry pattern or one from our selection. And when you are done, you'll have acquired all the skills necessary to make socks!

New Yarn

From Berroco we have Andean Mist - a scrumptious blend of alpaca and silk.

Just came in yesterday and is really nice. By the way this is Anastasia - a free Berroco pattern.  The trend this season seems to be lighter than air yarns.  This one certainly is.

These are this year's special set by Knitter's Pride. The last one was a limited edition and so I am not sure they will be available for long.  I am ordering on Friday the 9th so if you want some please let me know by then.  Wooden interchangeables with brass tips (like the Karbonz), 4 cords, travel pouch, and pearly pink case....yummmm

Starts this month.  Come in, find what you want and we'll work out a payment plan and you pick it up when it's paid up.
