Classes are postponed until next week.  Saturday at the same times.  Stay safe, See you Monday.  How odd, it actually did what the weather folks said it would.... We are closed today.

How many skeins do you need

to get through the storm?  We are open right now, but not sure for how long.  There is NO GROUP TONIGHT.  Stay warm and safe.

I'll announce about tomorrow and classes and such when I know what it is like.  But in any case if you don't feel safe driving in, give me a call and we'll reschedule classes.

New Class

Got stash?  Don't know what to do with it?  We can fix that.  I'll be doing a series of stash buster project classes during the year.  The first one is Februar27th and we'll be using fingering weight (you could do sport) yarns to make a baby sweater.  I also put up a Project Clinic Class up for February 14th AND there is Spinning Group on Feb. 20th.  And I'll announce the February KAL Hat on the first.

Yearlong KAL

I saw this and knew I was in trouble.  HAVE TO KNIT IT!  So I thought I’d try to get some of you in trouble too….

It will be a year long KAL at the store. This is the pattern Persian Dreams by Jenise Hope on Ravelry. It is doable in worsted or fingering weight and has several different designs to keep the boredom away. It’d be a great stash buster too. The hexagons and easy enough to carry around and who doesn’t love (or want to learn to love) Fair Isle knitting?

If anyone is interested I could also do a slightly shorter CAL - say 6 months - Sophie's Universe.  Just let me know.

Wow, I seriously thought I had done it already

Here's the Hat for January's KAL - Fast and Easy Hooded Scarf by Wendy Johnson.  It's on Ravelry.  You'll need 600 yds of Chunky yarn and #9 needles.  Its a scarf that is also a hat.
