Last day to get yarn

before we close for vacation.  We will be back on Thursday April 28th.  I will be blogging in the meantime from Italy....food, architecture, possibly yarn.  It seems odd to me that the castle we are staying in was built in the 12th century - and has WiFi .  I am taking way too many knitting projects with me and as suggested by someone, crocheting for the plane so they don't take my lovely rosewood needles from me when we change planes in Paris or somewhere.  I have a stash of naturally dyed fingering weight yarns in greens and yellows and tans and they want to be a crocheted shawl.  I am really questioning though - how many balls of yarn can you crochet in 24 hours? I keep putting some in my suitcase and then taking them out for the plane again.... There are 2 long layovers and I am fast.

You can like us on Facebook too.  Karen has been working on the page and it is now up.  We are working on making The Knaughty Knitter more of an online presence and easier to access.  There will be free patterns available periodically on Ravelry and some for sale on Etsy along with some finished knitted and woven items.  If you didn't know, there is also a Knaughty Knitter group on Ravelry too. 

And here's another thing.  Do you have a blog or website?  Link to us, and we'll link back and it'll help both of us get seen more.  Just send me an email letting me know that you have linked and I'll go look at it and we'll link too.  (Karen does some of this stuff for me now, I have the hardest time with doing computer stuff some days - Thank you a LOT Karen).  Do it now....I have been cleaning some - nothing drastic, but I am finding lots of things....One thing I found was a stack of coupons I had made up - so the first 10 people to link us to their website or blog get one of the coupons.  It is good for $5.00 off on a purchase.  I'll write your name on it and you can collect it when you come in next. 

And....For this month ...there's another thing.....Bring in a friend who is a new customer and who makes a purchase and you'll get 15% off your purchase that day.

Well it might be Karen, but it'll be there soon.  And she also put a link up for Tennessee Crossroads so if you missed it you can catch it there.

And last I've been dyeing again - probably the last bit of dyeing for the year since the weather is getting colder and stuff won't dry outside as well.  About half stays in the home stash - I love indigo - but some is here and it's pretty.

Bronwyn here - all is going well with my Argosy scarf in Silk Garden Lite. I like it (and the yarn) so much in fact, that I bought enough in another color to make a second one! Even though I'm doing a larger one (9 squares vs. 5) I will still only need two balls. But, it isn't finished yet and to get me through the long haul (and provide entertainment for Meredith) I give you:

Stick A Fork In It is tomorrow afternoon, at 4pm. If you've got a project you're stalled on (like me, sewing together my Klaralund, hehe) bring it in and chat and enjoy the radio while you work. Sort of like Mary Poppins. A spoonful of our company helps that project get off the needles....
